The Office of Academic Programs connects young scholars to the scientific community at STRI and offers a local support system to help these scholars achieve their research goals while in Panama.

We assist visiting scholars at the beginning of their academic careers, from interns to post-doctoral researchers. Additionally, the Office of Academic Programs provides logistical support to universities and research institutions bringing field courses to STRI. We currently host field courses from Princeton University, McGill University, and the University of Wisconsin, among others.
