Urania Gonzalez
Urania Maria Gonzalez Cruz was born on May 25th, 1976 in Moyogalpa, Ometepe Island, Nicaragua. In 1996 she was awarded a CASS fellowship to study in Gainesville, Florida, where she obtained her degree in Environmental Sciences with emphasis on Aquaculture.
Currently she is the administrative assistant at the Bocas del Toro Research Station.
On the personal side, Urania says "I like to read, travel and enjoy the beauty of nature. But above all, enjoy the company of my husband and our two kids, Nancy and Alejandro."
