Educational Opportunities
In the 2000 we begin the program of education that links the scientific investigation to the classrooms. In the 2008 we receive 10.000 students of all the country. Since the 2007 we initiate the training of teachers so that they can transmit the new know-how on the tropical nature of the coast in a dynamic way in their daily teaching.
Another activity of Galeta are the monthly Talk in which investigators of the STRI share the results of their studies with the community.
During their visit our naturalistic guides explained him the importance of the mangrove swamps, marine pastures, choirs and the creatures that inhabit them.
