Research Interests

I am interested in the origins and evolutionary processes of Neotropical rainforests. I aim to reconstruct landscapes and vegetation changes through geological time by means of analyzing pollen and spores of Mesozoic and Cenozoic sediments from different sites in South America.

I am also particularly interested in palinotaxonomy and morphological studies of pollen and spores.
