Research Interests

I am interested in the study of the composition and diversity variations of the tropical forest through geological time with emphasis on major climatic events. I use palynology as a proxy of forest changes.

Current Research

I’m just studying the Paleocene Eocene Thermal Maximum effects over tropical flora. This event is recognized by a sudden global warming and could be a natural experiment to know the possible implications of the transient global temperature rise over the tropical vegetation.
