Education

B.S., Engineering Geologist, Universidad Nacional, Medellín, Colombia. 2010.

Research interests:

Plate Tectonics evolution and Paleo-geography reconstructions using different techniques as: Geological Mapping, Geochronology and Geochemistry in igneous and metamorphic rocks. I am also interested in understand the relations between the tectonic environments and ore deposits.

Current research:

I’m working in the Panama Geology Project, collecting new geological data from the north of Colombiaand remote sensing information for geological mapping, That information will let us understand the Caribbean Plate tectonic evolution in the NW of south-America. I am also working with a data loading and maintenance of a geodatabase composed by geological field data.
