Lucy Ngatia

My research interest is climate change mitigation and adaptation for a better life. I am specifically interested on complexity and dynamics of the African savanna and how different ecosystem drivers affect carbon sequestration and the feedback to climate change. My PhD is focused on the influence of herbivory and nutrients on carbon sequestration in African savanna, with the aim of developing best management practices and contributing to carbon budgets estimates in these sensitive ecosystems.
